Where to look for a holiday?

Hi guys,

If you don't mind me picking your brains :D where do you look when you are booking a mountain biking holiday?

I think 'word of mouth' is one of the top ones but do you look in the ads in the back of magazines or anywhere online?

    I don't. I decide where I want to go, and organise it myself. At least if it goes tits-up, it's my own fault.

    However, advertising and all, looking for people for a fortnight in morzine, got a 7-person apartment, works out at around £400-450 including lift pass, transport and accommodation.

    I would start in the back of MBR/WMB - They have had ads for years, and so I would know that there is a place to start.
    A Flock of Birds
    + some other bikes.
