Hey
I have been looking at purchasing a bike with which to commute to and from work (roughly eight miles each way) and have narrowed it down to one of these which both seem pretty good for the purpose.
Not knowing an awful lot about bikes though Im struggling to work out the difference between the two as from what little specification they give on the website they pretty much sound the same.
Hence I joined up here in the hope that some of you guys could help me.

The bikes I`m looking at are:

And

Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Only difference I can see is a different alloy for the frame - although both? bikes are called the same.
For what you want is a decent bike. I'd take the cheaper one though.

Take the cheaper one.....minor difference in spec isn't worth £30!

Thanks, was going to go with the cheaper option but the only branch that had any in stock was about 40 miles away from me. Local store had the more expensive one and I pefer the colour so I went with that.
Must say going on the first fifteen or so miles I`ve cycled with it so far its the best £230 I`ve spent in a long while!
