Hydraulic brake upgrade advice m445 to xt

Following another thread, I decided to buy a set of deore xt brakes to upgrade my existing shimano M445 brakes especially after finding a great deal on Rose bikes. They're onroute now but I've got a few questions about extra bits and bobs I might need.
I've deduced that my current discs are 160mm slx discs, will I need to buy deore xt discs for them to work? My current discs state "resin pads only". I've read that there is possibly some metal in the xt disc pads so I'm goin to need new discs?
Lastly, I thought it would be a simple case of replacing my existing callers with the new ones but I've noticed that there are caliber adapters around... My bike is a cube attention 2012 and has a rockshox tk28 fork, will I need front and rear adapters?
Looking forward to getting them fitted and the bling bug has bitten and I'm eyeing up xtr front derauillers and shifters already! I know the front derailleur!

No - rotors will be fine, just ignore the label, it's rubbish.
