Cannock Chase trail conditions

Anyone been to Cannock the last day or so?

Me and a friend are doing it Friday and don't want to waste 250+ miles of fuel if its a mud bath or covered in snow.

The weather appears to be fine for tomorrow at least for some riding.

    I was there last Saturday pm and the trails were bone dry and in good nick too, despite the heavy traffic and abuse they seem to be getting at the moment. The weather hasn't been kind to them over the past couple of days, but I think they'll still be fine.....in fact, IMO a bit of rain/damp makes them better and seems to make them a bit grippier for me than the shiny slippery pebble stone base the trail consists of when dry.
