Refusing Deliveries

Ordered some components from an online UK bike shop. Seems some of the items were incorrect and I asked them to amend it. Unfortunately they've not managed to amended my order before dispatch. So now I'm going to get the wrong kit from them which will be a ball-ache to sort out.

Wondering if I can refuse to take delivery to save myself having to post it back. Anyone else done this?

    Being a driver myself I often get this when I get to the customers door, I say better to refuse it than come back the next day to collect it and fill in labels etc. if u know who the courier is you could call their local depot and tell them, would save the driver even coming- but that's if your are really nice lol.
