Hi,
I've a FSA no 57 headset. Meaning a 1'1/8th semi integrated upper and a 1.5 semi integrated lower.
Been using tapered forks, so no issues.
However, i want to pop a 1'1/8th straight steerer in there.
A little call to ukbikestore flagged up a reducer crown race....160_5538......which is good.
Question is though,
Surely the bearings in the lower race are so big compared to the steerer it will leave alot of room for play in the system.
I know that it is a compression affair with the top cap and all but will my new setup cause issues?

No it works fine. The race 'expands' your steerer to be effectively the same width as the 1.5A Flock of Birds
+ some other bikes.0
