4 Days in South West Scotland.
Hi Guys 'nd Girls.
Me and a friend are planning a 4 day trip up to sunny south west scotland next weekend. I have a little '50 best trail centers' book that came with MBR one edition.
We're thinking of doing over the four days
- Ae Forest
- Mabie
- Kirroughtree
- Dalbeattie
We've done Glentress a lot so we're going to miss that out. We're open to suggestions if there are any better ones. We're are traveling up from newcastle.
Does anyone have any thoughts on those? places to stay? We're looking for some fun red / black downhills to get the old heart going.
Any advice would be great.

Not sure if I am too late (which weekend) but all those trail centres are fun and different from each other.
If you manage Mabie or Ae and want more stuff on the same day then head to nearby Drumlanrig for something different... trails are waymarked but are tight wooded 'natural' feeling..... and riding very fast at the moment.vmgscot0 -
