Longer travel fork

I'm looking for a new fork to replace my very leaky (oil) F100, and I think I may go to a longer fork. My bike has about 4.5-5in rear travel, and this unbalance causes a dangetou head angle and very low bars. I would like to get some thing like Rockshox revalation RLT 140mm, but would this jump be too big? Anyone have and ideas :?
Pictures of the bike in this link, can't name the frame as I have no idea what it is!

Angles look about right - 140mm will probably be way too much. Could cause injury and death.I don't do smileys.

I would not put 140 forks on that bike. Your best bet is to sort the length of the rear shock out as you stated that it is too long. Also if the bars feel too low this will not be helped by the wrong rear shock.0

Any suggestion for new forks, the current one is very leaky0

I enquired with mojo about the cost of a service, with a new csu, buy the total of the csu, the bushes and the service was almost £300, so I thought I may as well get a new fork. Therefore I am willing to spend about £300-400.0

RS Reba, or Rev RLT reduced to 120-130mm.0

Hmm had an idea, any thoughts on 120/130 X-Fusion Velvet, from it's reviews it sounds great, smooth and very stiff?0

Good fork! Just that the RS stuff is usually heavily reduced so always a contender.0

Any ideas on where I can buy one in te UK?0

If you can't find one easily using Google, that's probably a good reason to buy Rockshox. Imagine trying to find spares.I don't do smileys.

I have a set of last years set at 130mm. I like them, a lot; however the discounts you can get on RS stuff you'd be silly not to get a reba or a rev. It's not that the x-fusion are poor forks (far from it) but a dual-air Rockshox offering performs much better (in my opinion of course.)What We Achieve In Life, Echoes In Eternity0 -

I'm not saying it is easy, i'm just saying that surely the company isn't so bad that they wouldn't be able to locate you some service parts via a phonecall to them.0
