New Crankset..

So when it comes to parts im pretty new to it all..

Ive currently got a 2006 Kona Scrap and the chain side crank arm keeps unwinding itself so ive been advised i need new.. what should i replace to begin with the BB & crankset? & what do people reccomend? Current specs i believe as follows:

Crankset: Truvativ Hussefelt-Howitzer, 34/36 teeth
Bottom Bracket: TruVativ Howitzer
Cassette: 8-speed, 11 - 32 teeth

Id like it to be somthing similar to whats on there but open to any opinion

if your budget's low like mine rose bikes have got a deore crankset with bb for 41 quid

Thanks, found the product, says its for 10sp i have 8sp not sure if this would work?

any more suggestions?

It will work. Though if you replace the crankset, you should replace the chain anyway.

going to be picking one up from benpinnick as soon as i can get my bike from the in laws

If your fitting an external BB like those linked to you'll need
1/ To get the BB shell faced by a bike shop (circa £10)
2/ Get the tools for the bearing cups and preload screw (circa £15)
