Campagnolo External Bottom Brackets - MTB?

Any way these can be used on an MTB? I've heard they are really long lasting and serviceable without special tools.

    No reason why it wouldn't work with the right thread, but what cranks would fit?

    Also saw this:
    Campagnolo Bearing cup fits all ultra torque chainsets. Key Features: Machined alloy cups. Please note Bearing comes on the crank, not with the cup.

    Sounds like a faff. Plenty of good MTB ones around.
