swap a internal for external BB ?????

is it possible to go from an internal to an external BB and if so what will it change or will need to be done, My question is because i want to fit a blackspire stinger on my cannondale SL3 Any help will be great, cheers

    Yes.

    The bb shell will need to be faced.

    am i correct in thinking that the stinger will not fit an internal BB

    Yes, if a stinger is what I'm thinking of then you lose a drive side HTII spacer and replace with the stinger.
