Hi guys
Remember when I cycled 45 miles and was bonking really badly?:

And then, my Boardman was stolen and I was given 2 very different bikes by 2 very nice people.
Today, I took the Monoc TC2 out on exactly the same 45 mile route and this time I took your advice: I ate properly last night, stopped for a proper food break during the ride, and took a sip of water every 15 minutes or so.
It was still a really hard ride and my legs were shaky when I got back, but I was nowhere near as bad as I was in February. So thanks a lot, everyone who advised me! Next weekend I'm aiming for 50 miles...

excellent - when you've done the 50 i'll give you your boardman back. The dissenter is every human being at those moments of his life when he resigns
momentarily from the herd and thinks for himself.0 -
