Hi, not sure which saddle to buy as my current saddle is too uncomfortable. The Selle italia is £45 and the Fizik is £17 more. Anybody had any experience with one, or even both? Thanks.
It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them.

I wouldn't be without my arione, the most comfortable saddle I've ever come across........
......but them again it's my backside and not yours. I'd look at the saddle exchange thread or buy one off eBay (as I did) and go from there......only way you can tell is by trying them. (or getting fitted according to your sit bone width etc)0 -
Just to drive home the point that it means feck all what we say about this because it's your butt
I bought an Arione and hated it immediately. Selle C2 has been on my bike for 3 years now and it's like and armchair, lovely.0 -
As stated no one else can say but if it helps decide between them the Arione is long and fairly narrow (with flexy sides) so if you have a slight bottom they tend to work well. Also give you options as you can slide/shift forwards or backwards to suit and work different muscles.
I have one and although it was uncomfy initially after 100 miles it sorted itself out and now I can do 4 hours in the saddle without any saddle issues.Yellow is the new Black.0 -
Love my Arione - first ride on it was 100 miles. Silly - but it worked.
I'd also look at the Charge Spoon- a lot of people get on with them, and they cost buttons by comparison.0 -
Tried both think they were very similar in comfort for me, just bought a selle thoork to try0

The beauty of the Arione is there are always several on ebay, so you could find one at a good discount to try and be pretty confident of getting your cash back if you decide it's not for you.0
