6inch to 7inch rotor help please

Hi I thinking of swapping my rotor from a 6in to 7in size . What adaptor do I need ? .(it`s for the rear on a GT i-drive 5).IS I think. A link would be helpful or any advice welcome.

    it all depends on the fitting on the fork/frame and the brake.

    so More info needed.

    What brakes have you got ATM? PS, 7 inch rotor sizes are not all uniform, there are 180, 183 and 185 mm rotors. What rotor and caliper will you use and will determine what adapter you should use.

    thanks for the replys. the fitting is I S and the brake is hayes strokertrail, rotor 7in/180mm. hope that makes sense.

    You've answered your own question haven't you?

    You need a rear IS 180 bracket.

    For XC I don't see the need to go over a 160mm rotor though.
