I'm looking for a new bike and think I'm going to go for a Cube. The Cube Axial WLS GTC SL or the Axial GTC Pro both seem better spec'd than other bikes around the same price as each of them.
Are they as good as they look?

Yes!
I have the Cube streamer and mrs T has the Cube Axial wls Pro, so Alu not carbon but very similar measurements/spec. Big fan of internal cables. The SL has an even better spec.
The finish on these bikes is great, good attention to detail, can't fault it. Obviously you need to hear from someone who has a carbon one to comment on the look of the carbon, but I thought I would start the cube fan club off!
They handle really well, ours have a slighter longer head tube and a 'wonderous' collection of spacers and are described as more sportive, so I can see how the one's you are looking at would be better suited for race.
We are new to this, so not sure how useful my comments are to you, but we are really pleased with our decision to buy Cubes, our other choice was Rose bikes, but you have to stop somewhere and just jump in.
No idea how they handle in the wet though!my isetta is a 300cc bike0 -

My wife has just got the Axial wls pro (aluminium). She absolutely loves it, says it is so much "smoother and faster" than her 5yr old Trek 1000. I must admit it is a stunning looking bike, and real " Bang for your buck " in valueSOLITUDE. It's not for everyone.
