Have I made the right choice?

I have just replaced my 2006 Suntour XCR's 100mm with a 2011 model (LO 100mm version). The reason for this was there was corrosion in the inside of the fork and it had worn out the chrome tube.
Have I made the right choice of fork in doing this because I know that there are other forks such as the Rock Shox Recon as well on the market for around £100? :?
Thanks

My god road cycling is scary! I'm going to keep my relaxing rides to the trails where everything is green, fast and less crazy.

They are perfectly good forks for the cash. Sure, the Recons are better at £115, but you paid £55 for the Suntour?!0

Bit late to worry about that now anyway. Just get out on them and ride. You'll be fine.0

i paid £58 on ebay inc delivery so I guess it was a good choice. It means that there's more money left to do stuff like a set of hydraulic brakes with it.My god road cycling is scary! I'm going to keep my relaxing rides to the trails where everything is green, fast and less crazy.0
