SLX or XT front mech

I need a front mech for my 456SS which I'm converting from 1x9 to 2x9. Needs to have a 28.6mm clamp. Is it worth paying a little extra for a XT rather than SLX? I will be using SLX shifters.

XT last longer. That's it.

I have never bothered with anything higher than a Deore front mech. Front mechs are much of a muchness, also never had to bin one because it had worn.
