Looking to buy the mrs her first mtb for her birthday to do a bit of weekend riding. Trailing and road but will be used for comuting for work too. Looking to spend a maximum £230 as she is adamant on me not spending too much for her first bike. Advice will be most appreciated and taken on board. Cheers

find her a massively discounted bike or get her some demo-days.

My missus massively prefers my carbon 456 to other bikes. Basically the lighter the better for her, she didn't even like an expensive carbon fs bike that she tried.
