Having got a new mtb bike for my my 7yr old lad, which he loves, I thought of getting him some gloves. Does anyone have any good recommendations for kids' gloves with a decent grip?

  • There are very good gloves out there for kids. My eldest (just ten) cannot be separated from his Fox Racing 360 Riot gloves. He was always fussy about gloves. His younger brother (just 6) only wears gloves when really cold and even then it is one of six or seven, depending on the mood. At such a young age it will come down primarily to colour, coolness, feel and practicality coming in last. If you can get your child to a shop where there is some choice to try on, you have half a chance. Present them with the gloves you chose and prepare for disappointment. Make it their decision, or let them think it was and away you go.
