Headset advice

Just after a bit of advice guys. I'm finding that my headset keeps working loose after a good ride. It's not loads but enough to feel after a while. I keep tightening it up but it still comes loose. I was wondering whether it was at the end of its life or whether I'm just doing something wrong maintenance wise.

Any advice would be most welcome. Sam.

    Then you are not tightening the stem bolts enough.

    Undo the stem bolts. Add preload. Tighten stem bolts.

    Thanks Nick, ill give it a try. Although I have tightened them right up previously, I will give them some more power and see if it helps.

    Also make sure that the top cap is not bottoming out and the top of the steerer is above the top side bolt.
