Mods, any chance of putting a 'deleted' marker in the place of a post; or the text & links; you delete just highlighting that something has gone from there as often the subsequent posts that have referred to it suddenly look nonsensical and out of context. Cheers.

fair enough, just asking as it's a wee bugbear of mine.
here's the thread that sparked the enquiry I guess the deleted spam was just above essex commuters holy thread resurrection post.

In that particular example I would have removed the posts after what ever was posted. As it was a single incident rather than a general sort out of spam."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."
