  • Hi, I was there, his riding friends had called for an ambulance, and my mates and I met the ambulance who was looking for them. We rode off to help find them and after we found one of his mates, my mate Dan went back and fetched the ambulance. It was a face vs tree incident, don't know if it was more serious than a bloody/ broken nose. but the guy was conscious sat up against a tree holding his face, he had two friends with him, so we left them once the medic got there.
Saw them with the ambulance (car) after we finished the lap, in the parking area.

Hope the guy is alright, looked quite nasty.

    Simon.

Cheers glad it wasn't too serious as thee was a fair amount if blood. I though he hit the tree as there is a small root just before.
  • He is OK - broken nose and 18 stitches. We were tanking along and he looked back to make sure our roadie friend (who we are saving from the darkside) was OK then bang.

loss of pride is hurting more than the injuries (he is also Health and Safety Director for major UK company!)

big thanks to everyone who helped / offered to help
how can I be skinny and fat at the same time
  • Glad to know he's ok, hope the crash didn't scare the roadie off! ;-)

Tell him not to worry about the pride, crashes make the best stories! ;-) I should know I do it a lot!
