Hi all,

Just looking for a bit of advice. I had a Trek 1.5 (2010 model) stolen (a bike I was really happy with), and am thinking about replacing it. What can people say about the following bikes?

Giant Defy 2 2012 - http://www.edinburghbicycle.com/product ... -defy-2-12

Focus Variado 3.0 '12 - http://www.edinburghbicycle.com/product ... ado-3-0-12

Specialized Allez Elite '12 - http://www.edinburghbicycle.com/product ... road-bikes

Cannondale CAAD8 Tiagra '11 - http://www.edinburghbicycle.com/product ... -tiagra-11

Trek 1.5 T H2 2012 - http://www.evanscycles.com/products/tre ... e-ec030300

Any advice would be appreciated...

Thanks
2017 - Caadx
2016 - Cervelo R3
2013 - R872
2010 - Spesh Tarmac

Xenophobia, or perhaps some kind of strange snobbery. Those US brands in your list make great bikes.
  • Go and try them out EBS will let you do test runs if it's dry. They had the defy, caad8 and allez to try when I was there. I got the allez cos I liked it. If you try them and like the memory of your Trek better then you'll know what to do. :D
Trek Domane 4.3. Merida One.forty 7.700. Merida CX 3. Voodoo Bizango

If you had a Trek 1.5 that you were really happy with, then that is what to replace it with.
