    If you're wearing all black, including socks, it is acceptable ONLY if your shoes are super awesome. This means that you are drawing most attention to the shoe so make sure it's clean.

    I wear black socks because i have black shoes and kit (mainly). Apparently its bad form having black shoes but to be honest, they are comfortable, they work, and although I paid a decent amount for them, they are not Sidi £240 rip-off's. My socks are probably from Debenhams, not Rapha, which all makes me a winner because it means i don't have to struggle to pay the rent.

    i won some socks off road.cc on facebook (they have a comp every monday - all you have to do is like to be in the draw) and wear them with pride with my white shoes....mind you i'm bollock naked in every other respect.

    Doesn't bother me, I actually prefer to wear black socks with white shoes, looks better I think but either is acceptable.

    Are we talking just on the bike or on a night out? :D
    Some nice faux leather white slip ons perhaps? Would have to be all black with a white tie I think 8)

    On the bike...my bike is all black and stealthy but I always wear white or blue Assos socks with either my silver S-Works or my new version white/black S-Works
