so friday for me........wake mrs castlelad and kids, wait till they leave for school/work, a sly bacon butty, bed till 12 ish, cut the grass , if i can be ar5ed !

Morning all,

Not long got up, getting myself ready, going to go do a few errands, then back home for a few hours, then going to pick my visa up from Vienna, then I am basically done for the day. Thank god, the last few weeks have been pure chaos, and it will only get worse once the wife is back. We should know within the next few days if our tenenacy of the flat we want has been approved, then begins finalizing the move and getting things packed and shipped.

TFI Friday! I have a pretty big meeting today (Quite like my obvious) to discuss some funding for my department. It should be my boss doing this, but she's on holiday this week and the meeting was quickly scheduled. However nothing gets past me, so I invited myself.
Weekend of nothing really. Don't think I'll be doing much, which I'm quite happy with really

the weekend starts here....might exercise this weekend.... might not.... 26 and 24 degrees respectively to look forward to so sunday might be the day for a ride with less chance of dehydration...

Not sure if I'm working at 8 or 10. As it is already 8.05 and I'm still in bed, I'm gunning for 10. Body is still sore from snashing it into big slabs of rock at Penmachno on Tuesday so I'm blaming that.

Meh day today. Bit of uni work, might play some tennis. Was thinking about Cannock but going to go tomorrow.

Now I really need some petrol, went into the red light yesterday only to find all the petrol stations I passed on the way back from the pub were out of petrol, apparently some fuckwits were trying to fill up several jerry cans of the stuff leaving none for people who actually need it.

Bit tired this morning as I stayed up to watch The Matrix again last night. The sun's shining so I'm off out in a bit for a quick ride. Going into town for some beer & pub grub later on, followed by going to see Stiff Little Fingers at the Kentish Town Forum - missed out seeing them yonks ago so looking forward to this. Should be a top evening 8)

Good sweaty sesh at the gym last night, hard point was when I was on the cross trainer and an advert for bacon came on...Got another sweat on when Hot Gym Guy came over to use the stretch aparatus while I was doing my physio-prescribed heel raises.
Work till 3, then running home to pack and then off to Preston to see a bloke I met in Morzine, tomorrow off to the Lakes for biking fun, no idea what Sunday will bring, more of the same probably.

A friend of mine is a sparky, and he ran out of diesel yesterday. Means he can't get to work today or tomorrow. Bloody stupid politicians and bloody imbecilic general public.

Onward! to...oh. Emails... yawn.

i think my cold is finally going, still feel a bit rough but better than yesterday.

i've just noticed that i've missed a bit shaving this morning so a quick trip to sainsburys to buy a razor at lunch

got to try and fix the bike later after ripping my mech off on monday, hopefully it was just teh hanger and not bent the mech.

It is day off 1 of 3 and I am not a well lad, after coming down overnight with influenza hominum or man flu as it's more commonly known. Hominum is not to be mistaken with homonom which it's noshing off another guy, I did not come down with that last night. I feel the best way to deal with this dangerous illness it's to trick it into thinking I'm a woman, so I've given myself a manicure, going for a haircut, going to do some housework, cook and watch lesbian pornography and loose women, I might even buy myself a new outfit.

Later on I have bike fettling to do, new gear cables, new brake lever, bleed, setup and clean

Strange day. Minion was on a 'holiday' today. Skiving if you ask me. It's been busy, including a meeting about finances for next year that my boss missed, so I went to, and then just before I go home (in 15mins) one of our iMacs dies! The hard drive has corrupted and stopped spinning, so that's off to be repaired. It means we're a studio down though, and that doesn't boed well with the directors.

Roll on 4:30!
