After a new set of shoes and looking at the specialized range.

just wondering if anyone has these:

wondering what they are like?

are they comfortable?

how stiff are they?

are they worth the money?
is it worth forking out the extra for the s works?

thanks

    Hi Red,
Ive had 3 pairs of Spesh shoes over the last few years. Last pair i had was the Pro Road. Great shoes very comfy with 1 buckle strap and 2 velcro straps, nice stiff soles.

Then about 2 weeks ago, i managed to get a pair of the S-Works for a very good price. I will say...if you can afford the S-Works (mine are the 2011 ones) Go Get Um !! They are without doubt the best shoes i've ever had.
The BOA system is just fantastic at getting them to fit just right and very easy to adjust on the move. The soles are super stiff carbon, uppers are very well ventilated with mesh inserts and they are very light.

You can get spare BOA laces and dials for 9.99 a pair...bargin.

Alot of Pros wear them....and i can see why. They are dear at 199...but well worth it.
I was lucky enough to get mine off Ebay, as new worn twice...£85 !!!.

    Thanks for the replies.
I know they are expensive but they sound & look like they are worth it!

Just have to decide whether to spend the extra £50 & get the s works now!

Very happy with my expert shoes - i found the s-works fitted differently and had a much bigger toe box. i also wasn't convinced by the double boa system. I'd recommend trying them before buying if possible.
