bearings

hi there, its time to replace my pivot bearings in my frame, i have a trek fuel ex 6.5 2009. i have taken the bearings out of the linkage. and on the side of the bearing it states: 6900RS, i ordered 4 new bearings, and when i went to fit them in the bike, they seem to be slightly loose in the housing. i rang the company up and i roughly measured the original bearings. they measured 22x10x6mm, i measured the new ones and they gave very similar results to the tape measure, but to the eye, you can see the original is very slightly wider and also deeper than the one supplied, despite the coding of the bearings being the same.

What do you all make of this? what are you thoughts? when you buy bearings where do you get them from?
