Wheel choice?

Hi guys

I've just bought some Bontrager SSR wheels and my intention was to put them on my Giant Trance but have been reading some pretty harsh reviews, any opinions or bad experiences?

Had some on a road bike. They were alright, I thought.

No idea about MTB versions.
