MTB trails near Southampton?

Have to take daughter to Southampton Airport at some ungodly hour this Sunday morning, so thought I might take the bike with me and see if there are any decent rides near there while I am down that way.
Just XC trails or bridleways will be fine, with maybe a few pubs/cafes somewhere on the route
Any suggestions ????

Lords Wood is pretty close, but hard to find your way around without a guide. Queen Elizabeth Country Park is just off the A3 south of Petersfield and is very good as a technical XC loop (but then I would say that as I've been helping rebuild it)... and there's also the Southdowns Way and plenty of bridlepaths near QEVitus Sentier VR+ (2018) GT Grade AL 105 (2016)

New Forest is just down the road too - nothing marked though, so it's just a case of following your nose (and avoiding the walkers
).
