Rock shox Reba dual air, problem/stupidity?

Hi all, just fitted a brand new set of Reba dual air to a frame,with no manual to hand I checked the + pressure which was at 90, then checked the - pressure which was zero. Used shock pump to inflate to 100psi which was fine for a minute then the seal blew from the top of the leg with quite a pop, I had not put any force on the forks for this to happen. Pressures were within the data on the the fork.
So question is really have I done something stupid? Is my fork now in need of repair?
First set of forks I have set up so any advice/pee taking is welcome.

Should not have happened, from the info you gave you have done nothing wrong. Which seal are we talking about? Something on the crown, or the one around the stanchion where they meet the lowers?0

Yes it was the seal on the stantions where they meet the lowers. It gave a good enough pop to scare the dog and my 5 year old lad!0

Send the fork back - sounds like an internal o ring has gone, leaking air into the fork body.0
