Which tyres for Afan?

In my shed I have,the option of Nobby Nics,Racing Ralphs or Cinders.

Of these which will be the best bet for Afan this weekend?
2006 Giant XTC
2010 Giant Defy Advanced
2016 Boardman Pro 29er
2016 Pinnacle Lithium 4
2017 Canondale Supersix Evo

    Nick up front Ralph on back, great combo for nearly anywhere!

    That said I ride Maxxis Ardent up front and Aspen out back, superb combo!

    Oh dear, can I complicate matters and say that I would personally go for the cinders.... :oops:

    I have used both for quite some time - kept the cinders but sold the NN & RR. I didn't find the NN / RR very good on technical stuff. Might be just me and the way I ride, but I found they gripped for a bit but them let go quite suddenly and unpredictably. Given the choice it would be cinders every time :D

    I just ran the place with Nobby Nics, its bone dry at the moment so maybe a bit overkill but on the looser ground it really did inspire confidence.

    This weekend? Surely Ralph's. Why would you need anything with more tread. We've had barely a few days rain since Christmas (even in wales).

    + some other bikes.

    Hmmm,leave the Nobby Nic front and Racing Ralph rear on.And pack the Cinders just in case............ :wink:

    Whatever you normally use. The ground is pretty varied, but bang in the middle, any all round tyres will be fine!

    i was actually going to post - rubber ones with air in them - but stopped myself...someone obviously doesn't have as much will power :lol:
