We were trying to complete a quiz last night, one of those things where you get a 100 questions on a sheet with cryptic type clues for them.

This one was a list of occupations or professions, and we have 99 of them done. The one we can't get is .....

"A person who's wicked productions can often be seen in church"

I don't have the sheet with me, but I think it was 10, 11 or 12 letters long. (not very certain about the word "often" in the clue either).

Anyone up for the title of 'clever censored '?

The older I get, the better I was.

    Well done that man.

We were stuck because we were reading "wicked" as in sinful.

    Thank you.

So what's the answer then?

Candlestick maker sounds about right and is very clever, but isn't the trade known as a chandler, which is too short for the clue from the OP?
