I don't have ad'block on my mobile Internet so get all the joy of a monetised site. Am I the only person not particularly impressed that BR is carrying an ad offering to get people off speeding tickets who's blurb is revelling in the notion that speeding is an innocent victim free crime that unjustly inconveniences people by taking away their driving licence, It reads as if the poor joe public victims of this terrible inconvenience don't have to be multi repeat offenders or driving in a truly lunatic manner to lose the permission to drive.
It's your site, owners & good on you for supplying it & mods to oversee it, but such ads are crass & insensitive IMO having been one of the many on here taken out by a bad driver.

I agree that some form of regulation/management needs to be put in place that dictates the types of adverts that come up.Food Chain number = 4

This one.
Having read through their website, are these really the kind of people that BR and Future want to be associated with?1985 Mercian King of Mercia - work in progress (Hah! Who am I kidding?)

It's google embedding though isn't it? I think the site admins can limit which adverts are embedded and the contents of the page define what adverts are shown.
You just need to raise a note in the right section to being their attention to thisChunky Cyclists need your love too! :-)

Anyway though, didnt mean to derail the topic. Mods should be able to block particular ads and one implying that speeding is just an annoyance sounds in poor taste for a cycling forum.0 -
Sorry, yes. I should have said I agree with lazybones in the OP. It does seem a bit daft, however I would hope there'd be less uptake from here so the revenue gained for monwey spent on advertising should be down a fraction.0
