carrera subway 2012 or trek 7.2 2011

I'm struggling to make a decision on what bike to get so am just looking for some advice on whether it is worth spending the extra £120 on the trek. This will be my first bike in 15 years and will be for a 10 mile return commute. Thanks.

    I bought a Trek 7.2 - had a blind spot for Halfords bikes tho' I hear the Carrera is OK !

    Been going fine - but wish I'd gone for cross or road bike now after 4K miles of 35mile round trip commuting.
