Hi ladies and Gents,

Slime tubes what do we think?

I just bought some and they do feel a little heavy, but I wasn't slower than before on my first ride.

I have obviously had a puncture in them as well as my pressure was down in the back tyre when I got back from my second ride on them. better than being stranded somewhere fixing a puncture!

your thoughts!?

I use them on the pub bike, but not on the road bike.

Took mine out a few weeks back, got a puncture in the rear which didnt seal so when I took the tyre off at the side of the road it was filled with green liquid which was a pain to deal with, the one in the front wheel made the bike handle very odd at speed I could feel it pulling me in the corners, Have replaced it with a normal tube now and can corner at speed again with out the fear of being pulled of line. :D

Have them in the MTB though and there great.
  • Any positives? I've cycled 60 miles with no real problems but most people seem quite anti?
