I have just removed my cassette for a proper clean (dang, that's shiny! 8) )
Is it advisable to put some grease on the lock-ring thread before putting it back on?
Thanks.

if people want to put something on then an Anti Sieze is more suitable than grease as it does not move."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

done up properly, it won't move with some grease on
but yes, anti-seize > grease > nothing0
