Loose freehub help

Hi Guys,
I need a little info please before I tackle a repair.
I have a rear wheel from the original Boardman HT Pro bike. It has a Ritchie rim, but a seemingly unbranded hub. I noticed over the weekend that there is some play in the wheel and took a closer look last night. The axel is tight in the hub, but there is movement in the freehub body. Can this be tighten'd up? If so, how?
Many thanks,
Steve

what do you mean by movement. there is some movement normally.
check the cassette nut is done up."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

I could feel it through the bike when riding, and when you flex the wheel it makes a little knocking noise. When you hold the freehub there is a bit of side to side play in the outer shell.
