Following on from my "Refund Unreasonable" thread.......
I was offered the choice of two frames both 120mm travel , or the possibility of a part refund (dont know how much yet).
What are peoples views on mixing 150mm front forks on a 120mm Frame. Im trying to work out what my best option is.

Sounds a bit too mixed to my taste, but really depends on the frame, as it could actually be nice downhill!0

Depends entirely what fork the frame is designed around. The new Ragley frames are designed around short rear travel and long front travel, but on other frames it might completely mess the geometry up/void any warranty.0

I dont how it would work on warranty as the company are the ones offering me the 120mm option. TBH I dont trust it .0

See what they say - might handle great, but if not warrantied for it and you break it...0

I've never had a bike with the same front travel as rear. I've had ones with more front, ones with more rear, and ones with a good 100mm more at the front

What combinations of travel did you have B346?0

150mm front +140mm rear, 140mm front and 150mm rear, and the last bit was a joke about a hardtail. So nothing as extreme as this but if the frame will take it i don't see why not. My mongoose has been run at 130mm fork, 65mm rear travel - but again, depends on the bike and I doubt these frames from Bulls are warrantied for it.0
