    It's not that.

It's the Lib Dems aren't good enough at politics when in government.

Unsurprisingly, they get all focussed on governing and doing as best as they think they can for governance given the circumstances - and totally forget that they've got to get some votes come next election.

True, but I think Clegg has as much trouble from within his own ranks as outside. One family member in particular is quite high up in LibDem local govt. so I've heard some of the (pretty virulent) distaste at the moves made in the name of the coalition. That said, I'm sure all parties have similar problems

When I was first on here, before I met the pro-race lot for Christmas drinks they all thought I was some Nathan Barley type. Then they met me and realised I was very very boring instead!

Going out in shoreditch is a thoroughly average experience.

    Wouldn't surprise me.

The Tories have similar problems, though less pronounced (and less dangerous).

Yeah they're not skinny jeans. I can't fit into skinny jeans.

What will I wear with it?

Few things - got a small white t-shirt with blue horizontal stripes which would work nicely.

If I want to up the ante I'd wear that with my boat shoes (brown) and wayfarers.

When you do, please can you update your screen name to "sailor rick".
What do you mean you think 64cm is a big frame?

Indeed, the 1922 Committee, like to think they run the show for the Tories, and Labour have the old-new tension still unresolved. Then you've got UKIP and its spinoffs that seem to tear themselves apart on a regular basis.

Nah, I had RC down as this type of person: http://www.vegetarian-shoes.co.uk/

ooooo squee moment! I loved that shop when I lived in Brighton. I still have shoes from there even 10 years later. great place.

As for deck shoes, alas Jake owns a couple pairs. Thankfully no red trousers, I would have to leave him if something like that were to ever appear in his wardrobe
