New Selle Italia Turbomatic saddle

As a longtime user of Selle Italia's excellent Turbomatic 2 3 and 4 saddles over the years, I recently purchased the latest incarnation.
After riding it for a few weeks I'm somewhat dissapointed, the black leather covering is very thin and quite slippery thus making it difficult to hold ones position. I also developed some funky hot spots, after much pain and frustration I reinstalled my well worn turbomatic 4.
I am interested to know, has anyone else experianced similar problems with the new turbomatic?

I couldnt agree more. Think it is the padding they use. Please selle italia rerurn to the one used before.0
