Shape of Scott helmets.

I am thinking of buying a Scott helmet via the web, but I don't know what 'shape' they are and therefore whether it will suit me. My head shape suits Giro, Bell and Uvex helmets, that I do know. I cannot get a comfy fit in Orbea and Catlike. Are there any helmet experts out there who may be able to give me some advice?

Helmets are much of a muchness really - buy them for fit over looks. You're much better buying a helmet you know is comfy for you rather than taking a risk.

I just wouldn't buy a helmet without trying it on first. No way of knowing how it will fit your particular head until you try it. You might have a little bump on the the top of your head that is in exactly the same place as a protruding bit of styrofoam, or the helmet might be uniquely designed to never fit tightly on your particular head shape.

Alternatively, you could consult an itinerant phrenologist who visits a lot of cycle shops.
