Just throwing this out there.
I'm after some new knee pads. Light weight hard shell but with a bit off support as my knee are shot( just retired from rugby due to knee shoulder and elbow problems)
Can't seem to pick one. Looking at the 661 rage?
Help

The newer 661 Evo (D30) pads are pretty good for support and protection... I've fallen off a few times and despite the embarrassment, been fine.... They cost a shed load though.... Kyle Straits are pretty good though, just a little stiffer and slightly harder to pedal in.Ibis Mojo HD 2011 www.bikeradar.com/forums/viewtopic.php? ... t=12842777

there are loads now and most of them seem to be decent.

Cheers fellas. I was under the impression the rage pads were the Kyle straits. Read nothing but praise for them but can't seem to find the latest ones0

Just read a reveiw of the fox launch as well as riders reviews. Think that's it. Never considered them. Cheers again0

Just worn Fox Launch pads over four days' riding in Glentress and Innerleithen, and have nothing but praise for them. No slipping at all, and very comfortable. I expected to be annoyed by them having never worn pads before, but that didn't happen.
Mind you I didn't crash onto my knees. But I expect they would have done the job if I did.2011 Canyon XC 8.0 (Monza Race Red)
