New commuting bike

Hello,
I currently own a Charge Grinder and am looking to replace it for a new job. I like the Charge but its a bit heavy and the toe clearance is terrible. My commute will only be about 10 miles per day across Sheffield so I'm looking for something fast and more importantly FUN!
I've highlighted a few options below, any opinions or other suggestions are most welcome:

http://www.cotic.co.uk/product/bikes/roadrat/flat_bar/
http://www.cannondale.com/gbr/2012/bike ... n/hooligan
http://www.dahon.com/bikes/2011/mu-uno
If the Hooligan wasn't £800 it would be my first choice as it looks fun, compact (so my girlfriend can use it too) a is a bit unusual
Cheers
