orange frame sizing

How do orange size their frames? Is it tube centre to b/b centre or something else? I've just bought a 19" Elite frame, but it felt smaller to me, and sure enough when I got the tape measure out, it measures 17.5" from top tube/seat tube centre to b/b centre and 19" from top of the seat tube to centre of b/b. I thought frame sizing was measured from centre to centre.

They can be measured both ways. But makes little difference. If the seat post can put you where you want to be, then other measurements are more important ie effective top tube length.

Nope everyone measures it differently. It is only good for comparing models from one make.
