Swap out Tiagra BB cups with Ultegra/Dura Ace?

Hi fellas,

I see quite a few threads saying that the Shimano Hollowtech II BB cups are interchangable but looking at the Shimano compatability chart here http://www.shimano.com/publish/content/global_cycle/en/us/index/tech_support/tech_tips.download.-Par50lparsys-0025-downloadFile.html/01)%20Drivetrain%20Compatability%20Chart.pdf it looks like I can't.

I currently have a compact Tiagra double with the sm-fc4500 BB cups and they creak whatever I do! I have the FC-4500 chainset.

Am I going mad because I see loads of posts saying replace the Tiagra with Ultegra/Dura Ace BB no problem.

    Yes you can replace the two, I have done it. I have also taken the Dura Ace back out since I sold the bike as standard recently.

    If you are looking you can have it for £12 posted. It's done about 500 miles and is good as new it's the 7900 eng thread. Can send full details and pics if you want.

    I got a Giant TCR which needs a press fit, so no good to me now.
