I bought a pair of bolle vortex from http://www.spectaclesoutlet.co.uk/ near Edinburgh. They cost around £120 , not the cheapest but good value me thinks. They have prescription inserts on the inside so I assume it will be easy enough to change the prescription and the outer lens is polychromic, ideal for a variety of light conditions.
The appearance is a bit odd in low light, makes you look like a character from Thunderbirds, but they are good on the bike.
The glasses had to be ordered and took a few weeks to arrive.0 -

Got a pair of prescription Oakleys from RX Sport.co.uk last year.
Great quality and service, albeit a bit costly, but cheaper than other sitesCannondale Super Six Hi Mod Sram Red0 -
BBB Power view glasses from Dot Bikes about £30.

Get the inserts glazed by Cilary Blue for £15. Job done - and less than %0 quid..

+1 for RX Sports. They will send you a few to try before you buy.0

+1 for Optilabs. Bought a pair in 2006. Lost one of the rubber bits that rests on the nose 4 years after purchase, contacted Optilabs and they sent 2 replacements free of charge.nearly there.0 -

I've been looking for regular sunnies and saw a pair of these the other day. I tried them on and the inserts don't interfer with eyelashes etc. They're basically BBB 'Winner' shades with little 'pince-nez' attached inside.0 -
Probably cheaper to get disposable contact lenses and wear non presecription sunglasses. Its a pain in the arse though, and i can no longer do it because of my Diabetes, so it looks like i'll have to splash a feckin fortune on some specs this summer but i'm virtually blind, my perscription probably isn't compatible with most glasses.0

I hope you don't mind me asking - but why can't you use contact lenses when you have Diabetes?0 -
Optilabs seem to be a specialist in providing prescription sports glasses here in the UK, excellent value and getting more stylish each season. We use them a lot for polarised glasses for fishing always the best prices, turnaround time and advice on lens colour.Turned out nice again!0

£56 for glasses and inserts. Two weeks delivery. Excellent glasses. Replacement pairs cost £28 - just press in your existing inserts. Buy online and send your scanned prescription.0 -
Does anyone know of Cycling glasses without inserts that can take prescription lenses? I'm now in need of some cycling specific sunnies and would probably prefrer them without inserts, probably vanity, which is a bit rich from a fat balding 43 year old0

Has anybody else got a pair of these? I'm very tempted but the cheap price has alarm bells ringing in my head?!
PS. The diabetes and contact lense thing:- Diabetics are prone to eye problems, imparticular retina damage, the less messing around with the eye itself the better, eyes drying out can cause massive problems for diabetics, hence no contact lenses.0 -

off the top of my [not bald - yet] head:
-Oakleys
-Optilabs http://www.optilabs.com/
-Rudy Project
-Adidas
i'm sure there are others.
If you can afford them then a nice pair of Oakleys with a few different sets of tints would be nice -> or maybe one set of transitions lenses.
But its going to cost you!
and i was chatting to the guy in my LBS and he uses adidas glasses with the inserts and highlighted some advantages of inserts over directly glazed -> mainly that you don't damage the expensive bit (i.e. the lens) easily -> say if you are cycling and you need to wipe something off your lens, its going to get scuffed and damaged over time because you're not going to stop and get out some cleaning fluid and a microfibre cloth!
not to mention the fact that they are cheaper.
I'd just go for inserts and a mirror lens for sunny days.0
