Morning bumders

I feel like crap, stupidly blocked nose, and I'm awake at a stupidly early time too, not cool.Today will be mainly dull, pestering LBS to give me my stuff back, will get out on the road bike later too, got some uni work to do among other things.

Tomorrow is Friday. Off to Wales for the day with bikes for a mates birthday, unfortunately I expect he's wanting to do a stupidly long route, which I'm not going to be in any condition to do, since the summer the only chances I've had to ride have been when I'm back from uni and even then I think the longest I've had time to get out for is 4 hours in one go. Meh.

  • Morning homos.

    Back at work today.

Waiting for delivery of orders from Merlin and Next Day tyres today.
Waiting for dispatch confirmation of orders from Swinnerton, Superstar, CRC & Ready2ride.

On the bright side, garage is cleared, skip is filled, and there is now space in there to have the Karma up on the turbo all the time, with still enough room to have another bike up on the workstand.

    Mornin' Sinners

Nearly Friday. Nearly, but not quite, so I shall heroicly forego bacons and instead knuckle down and actually do something for a living, which today, shall involve both composites and proper metal. It will aslo involve death-rays.

Any good work day should involve death-rays, no?

Looking ahead, the weekend should include the continuing rebuild of the racer ready for the first event of the season, some unfortunate family dealings, and hitting the paintball field. We won last month and I can't see why this month should be any different. To get in the mood I've had 'Let the Bodies Hit the Floor' on heavy rotation.

Still, coffee calls, and nothing makes heavy machinery (and death-rays) more exciting than steering it whilst having a caffiene buzz. Nice. 8)

Owards! To the laboratory, Igor! Via the caffee vendo-matic!

    Morning Fudgepackers,

Currently sitting in London City airport slurping coffee and scoffing toasties waiting for my flight to Geneva. A mate who's flying in from Madrid has had his flight delayed so I reckon that'll scupper any chances of a bit of skiing this afternoon, so we'll just have to go beeriing instead :-). Will do what Yeehaa did and give an update on snow conditions tomorrow just to p1ss the skiers off ;-)

Meh, after a great ride at llandegla last night, in which we did it in well under 1hr 30mins (by seconds), today is legal things & no fun followed by study.
  • Morning!

Wednesday was waaay better than expected. Tricked a very pretty lady into evening drinks, then managed to ride my bike home along the canal in the dark without any lights and feeling a little worse for wear.

Today will consist of sobering up, then going to work, then gym, then clean and tidy.
thought for the day: "you just have to hang on, it's Friday tomorrow"

    morning ferrets.
A whole day of yawnworthy meetings today. One of them to discuss what we'll have to do for the Olympic Torch route. I don't know why I have to attend this one as I'm sure they won't set fire to any buildings?

Been out on the road bike already because I was bored, it's gaaaayyyy but I need the exercise. Not sure what to do now, being up early is weird, I've still got so much time for activities.

    Morning, Crudites.

I hope you don't mind a newbie joining in.

Currently sat in a faceless caffeine emporium next to the M4 en route to Reading for meetings. They should be over by 12.30 so I'll be able to hit the road and be back in The Promised Land in time for afternoon tea.

Cwmcarn or FoD on the weekend? Decisions, decisions...

To be fair her mobile ran out of batteries so no calling for help, she was also a bit late so her drink was waiting on the table. It would have been rude not to.....

My Wednesday night turned out much better than expected, cleaned the stumpinator then sacked off all my other chores, went out and accidentally got drunk. Top night in my book. And it appears I didn't pay for any drinks. This is a very rare occurrence and full of win. Green fruit flavour phone died on me though, which is starting to p1ss me off, thought the latest update was supposed to fix the battery issues, not make them worse!
Usual workmeh, followed by gym, then off out for a friends birthday tonight.
