Faulty M988 Hose ?

Just been wondering what the hells wrong with my M988 front brake (gone squishy, started squealing, loss of power etc..) and realised there's oil leaking out the joint between hose and banjo (where it's crimped). The oil has slowly been flowing down to the pads, so they've now had it.
Anyway, I couldn't believe that anything XTR would fail, but just googled this, and I've read that there's possibly a faulty batch of M988 hoses.
Anyone else experienced this ?
