I have a CAAD9 frame and forks hanging in my garage I need to get rid of. It's the 2009 version in matt black. Any idea how much it is worth? Don't want to give it away, nor ask a stupid price.

Used for about one summer. Pretty much as new condition.

Size is the biggie, 54-58 sell the best, you'd probably get around 250 for it.

Interesting, I have a complete CAAD 9 in the classifieds.

I think they are quite rare - the older Optimo 1 ones with the fillet brazed welds. Toying with keeping it.

    Probably £250-350.

I have a caad 9 in mat black. I love this bike, there are better bikes I'm sure but it feels so right. I reckon 250/300 is about right for that.

Off topic. I'm on a two or three forums for other hobbies and my user name on those is CarlP. I couldn't do that on this one cos you have that user name. Two CarlP's with the same bike, sort of.

I sold a good condition 2007 Caad9 frame with premium carbon fork in Raw finish and size 56 cm for £300ish on this forum last year. The guy who purchased it travelled 50 miles on the train to pick it up from me and was obviously chuffed with his purchase. I really liked the Caad 9 but it was one size too small for me - Anyway I was glad it went to a good home. I got a SuperSix as a replacement which is better in some areas than the Caad but not by as much as some people might think.

    Regards
