How much do you think my road bike is worth?

Hi there! First post here, I've asked around a few places and not really got an answer, so I'm hoping I will here
So, first up, I want to get rid of it because it's just plain too small for me, not to mention that I want something sturdier. I'm 6'7", and quite hard on my bikes, so a nice 66cm tourer would be perfect. I think I can get a frame from Germany or Holland for around £200.
It's a 62cm Dolan Prefissio alloy frame, with Columbus Tusk carbon forks. Everything else save the handlebars and pedals is Campag. 8 speed, two ranges, and 10mm longer cranks.
Everything is as good as new; the frame, handlebars, fork and rear tyre have been ridden less than 20 miles, and all the Campag stuff under 1000 (Which I'm led to believe is nothing for Campag - it's not even worn in yet).
I took it into the bike shop to get some parts, and the guy there said it was worth £400. Thoughts?
Here's a (poor) picture of it next to my XC bike.
If I end up selling it, I'll probably be back looking for tourer components
Thanks!
Joe

where abouts are you. i may be interested in the frame and fork, do the forks have mudguard eyelets? i would need to research the geometry to see if its too big or not. the rest would be suitable to put on a tourer.0

Where is it allowed, then? I looked around, but I couldn't find anywhere better suited...0

you seem to be at loggerheads again.0

Nein - Dis it Nicht allowed! (ask the mods why - I don't know, I Think it's becasue otherwise the site would be full of them, and also that people would be whigning if they did nt get what us know-nothings quoted).
It is interesting in the light of recent teacup storms how little moderation there is in this forum though eh?! In the MTB section they get locked almost instantly. We're in danger of confusing passion with incompetence

Hi - Is this still for sale?0

Given that the frame and components look to be at least 10 years old and aren't top of the range i.e. command a premium, then I'd expect no more than £250 if mint condition.Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..0

It cost £200 or so to put together I think, - £80 for the frame, £65 for the forks, and the handlebars, stem and a few misc parts made up the rest.
The parts I bought are brand new, everything else came off an Italian racer that had been in storage, so it's old but effectively unused.
EDIT: And to keep in mind I'm asking a question in this thread, not trying to sell it. I haven't even decided whether I want to sell it yet. I guess you could PM me if you're after it, but obviously I'm still thinking about things.0
